About Pupusas

Thick handmade corn tortillas stuffed with cheese, beans, or pork, the national dish of El Salvador. Traced back thousands of years to Pipil origins. Cooked on a comal griddle until charred and puffy. Eaten with curtido, a spicy fermented cabbage slaw, and tomato salsa. The second Sunday of November is National Pupusa Day.
