About Fish and Chips

Joseph Malin opened the first fish and chip shop in London around 1860. Wrapped in newspaper until the 1980s for health reasons. Vinegar is the traditional condiment, not ketchup. Winston Churchill called it the good companion. During WWII it was one of the few foods not rationed, considered essential for morale.
